Across the street at the zoo’s entrance is the Woodland Park Rose Garden, a nationally-recognized public rose garden.  Visitors and flower lovers can stroll grass pathways that circulate through a showcase landscape of extensive rose displays, fountains, ponds, and a central gazebo where weddings are often held in the summer.  The garden is open from 7:00 a.m. to dusk every day of the year, free of charge.
